Managed Video as a Service

The place to learn about and discuss Managed Video as a Service

We’ve had a good run at Envysion over the past year in terms of industry accolades and awards for our MVaaS solution.  Today I had the opportunity to celebrate another award, this time for our Chairman, Dan Caruso.

Dan was honored by the Denver Business Journal in their Power Book edition as the most influential business leader in the category of Technology and Telecom.  Having worked for Dan in three different companies over the past decade, I can tell you it was an award that is very much deserved.  Check out the other nominees that were up for the award and you’ll see that Dan is in some pretty elite company.

Technology & Telecom Nominees

Michael Bristow, Arca Biopharma
Dan Caruso, Zayo Group and Envysion
Jim Crowe, Level 3
Charlie Ergen, Dish Network and EchoStar corporations
Michael Long, Arrow Electronics
Larry Longseth, IBM Corp.
Greg Maffie, Liberty Media Corp.
Pat Mahaffy, Pharmion
Edward Mueller, Qwest Communications International Inc.
Kenneth Tuchman, TeleTech Holding Corp.

Between Dan’s involvement in Envysion and his leadership of Zayo Group and their rapid ascension in the telecom world, he is definitely having a major impact in both the Technology and Telecom markets.  It was great to see him get the recognition he has earned and I’m looking forward to working with him as we grow Envysion and continue to shape the emerging MVaaS marketplace.

Congratulations Dan!

Thanks Matt. You are my nominee for 2010…which means that 2009 needs to be a great year for Envysion
